Our Unique Work:

The Supervision Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) supervises banks in the Second District. The

objectives

of supervision are to:

Evaluate and promote the overall safety and soundness of supervised institutions

Ensure supervised institutions' compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Facilitate the stability of the financial system of the United States

Support the growth and stability of the U.S. economy

Supervision is carried out through a combination of methods, including on-site and off-site examinations involving staff dedicated to the supervision of an individual firm and other professionals focused on analytical, policy
,

and risk matters. Supervision is coordinated with other U

agencies.

You'll
Make an Impact:

Maintain deep knowledge of the

firms and industry

strategy, risk profile, governance, risk management
,

and control functions via monitoring
,

analysis,

and examination activities.

Contribute to

the

development of supervisory priorities and

supervisory plan
s

needed to assess core risks and make well-supported recommendations
.

Develop and

p
resent examination

and analytical

results to

a

range of

stakeholders and supervised institutions.

Collaborate and build relationships with

Bank, Federal Reserve System
,

and Interagency partners to

develop supervisory responses

to

and analysis

of

inherent and emerging risks
.

Help

identify

and

address emerging risks to supervised firms, the financial system
,

and financial stability
.

The Unique Skill Sets
We're
Looking For:

Ability to take on a leading role on examinations at financial institutions and/or an ability and willingness to learn about complex regulations, including supervisory expectations and findings.

Supervisory or industry experience in bank activities, including commercial banking, retail

lending
, payments, global markets trading businesses
,

including experience

in

financial risk management

and audit functions
.

Supervisory or industry experience

managing

financial

risks, such as market

and

counterparty

credit

risk, credit risk,

and

liquidity risk
.

Working knowledge

of

relevant supervisory standards

for

financial

strength
, compliance
,

and risk management practices
.

Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
.

S
trong

financial and

data analytics skills

preferred; CFA, FRM and equivalent designations

a plus
.
