DRIVER/Direct Care Aide
HOURLY RATE OF PAY:  $19.89/HR
PART-TIME

Operates a state motor vehicle in the performance of duties, such as transporting clients to appointments and activities; delivering mail and messages; and picking up and/or delivering a variety of supplies, products or materials.
Transports staff/clients with responsibility for assisting staff in the care of clients; responsible for the clients care in the absence of assigned staff.
Verifies descriptions and quantities of all items picked up or delivered.
Performs clerical tasks incidental to the operation of a motor vehicle and related equipment.
Exercises independence in performance of responsibilities; receives general administrative direction.
May perform other related work as stated below:
Observes, reports, and assists in recording changes in the physical condition, behavioral response, and emotional status of clients.
Assists in providing basic health care for clients such as checking vital signs and applying simple dressings.
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for client care and treatment activities.
Assist clients in participating in activities (fishing, shopping, going to the movies, out to eat etc.)
Assist clients with meals, bathing, grooming, etc. as needed.

0-1 years' experience
Must be 18 years old
Possession of a valid operator's license appropriate for vehicle assignment at time of appointment.
Level One Med Aide certified
