This position is the recognized resource for the development and maintenance of the Multi-Year Plan/Annual Implementation Plan used by all 16 AAAs. This position is also responsible for oversight, monitoring, and providing technical assistance to three or more regional Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) that administer social/health-related and nutrition services to older adults. Identifies issues that require state Commission on Services to the Aging approval under the Older Michiganian's Act and federal Older Americans Act. The position provides policy interpretation to local area agency policy boards and executive directors for assigned regions.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Departmental Analyst 12 - Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service. Departmental Analyst 9 - 12 - Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement. Position Location/Remote Office: The physical location of this position is 400 S Pine St, Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, includi ng: A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
