This position requires you to be on site 5 days a week at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing advanced data analytics and strategic workforce planning via on-demand, intuitive web-based capabilities and reporting. This includes maintaining key datasets in SQL Server database, providing ad hoc reporting, and developing interactive data visualizations.

Engage technical and functional program SMEs and key data stakeholders to understand business processes, develop analytical requirements, identify key data elements, adhere to data protection guidelines, and interpret and communicate analytic results

Understand and analyze complex and organization-specific datasets

Define and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analytical use

Support the maturation of data quality

Support the transformation of businesses process through automation

Transform data and analysis into informative visualizations and interactive dashboards using open-source and commercially available visualization and dashboard tools

Collaborate with the team internal and external timely and proactively

Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers

Develop briefing packages to communicate complex ideas to non-technical customers

Advise on the interpretation and use of data analysis products, dashboards, and reports to non-technical customers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or other related business or quantitative discipline is required.

Minimum 5 years in data analytics or related

Preferred experience with data science methods related to data architecture, data munging, data and feature engineering, and predictive analytics.

Experience working with programming languages like SQL and python (SQL required, python preferred)

Experience developing dashboards using Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, RShiny, plotly, and d3.js

Self-starter with the vision to independently identify opportunities for improvement through data analytics.

Excellent communication skills, written and oral

Proven ability to work with business customers and technical teams

Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent customer relationship management skills

Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work on client site in either Reston, VA or Washington, D.C

Active TS/SCI required. CI Polygraph is required for the position; candidates without a current polygraph will be sponsored for upgrade.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher

Advanced knowledge of SQL or Python

Experience using python libraries to build regression models and decision trees

Experience with version control software like Git

Management consulting experience desired

Experience working with unstructured text and natural language processing

Experience with deploying and maintaining models in production

Previous experience with people analytics

Target Salary Range
: $150,000-$200,000
