THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Leading the Peer Support Program includes oversight of the Peer-to-Peer Program, The Path Home (Peer Run Crisis Residential) and the Market Street Hub (Drop-in Center). The Mental Health Program Specialist 1 (MHPS 1) will report to the County Administrator and Deputy Administrator. The MHPS 1 is responsible for oversight of day-to-day peer services, ensuring regulatory standards are maintained, providing direct supervision to program staff (individual and group), ensuring program/agency policy and procedures are enforced, and analyze and provide program improvement recommendations to Administrators. CMSU's Peer Support Services include the 4-county catchment area (Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union) Counties and could include services to others enrolled in the North Central managed care contract of PA HealthChoices (CCBH). Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
