DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is professional social services work in our Early Intervention (EI) department. The primary responsibility is to assist families in accessing, receiving services, resources and supports that they need for their child's development. As an EI Service Coordinator, you will work with children from birth to age three and their families. An important aspect of this position is to provide service coordination to help the children obtain the therapies or needed services to ensure they are developmentally on track. You will also assist the family with other needs and provide needed resources or referrals and work closely with providers and other social service programs. Service Coordinators must be capable of managing multiple stages of service delivery, supporting children from initial intake through case closure, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive experience for families.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
