Apply today to join our dedicated team of professionals! DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position provides a full range of social and case management services to children, youth, and families. The caseworker performs service planning on intakes, including the completion of intake documentation and the determination of risk involved, using the approved risk assessment model. Investigates reports of mistreatment and abuse of children and provides for the safety of those children. Performs general protective services including a minimum of monthly home visits with families and the development of family service plans. Performs out-of-home placement duties to include monthly visits and family contacts. Maintains detailed family files and performs related work as required. This position is included in a 24 hour on-call rotation. The Core Training series for County Caseworkers and Caseworker Certification is required to be completed after employment begins.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a one-hour lunch.This position is included in a 24 hour on-call rotation schedule.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level course work which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orA bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and on
