THE POSITION
Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration has an immediate need to fill a County Caseworker 1 position in our Early Intervention unit.  Our mission is to enrich lives by providing choice and access to resources that encourage hope, independence, and recovery.  Come join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of children and their families in Fayette County!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
What is the Role of a County Caseworker 1 in the Early Intervention unit?The County Caseworker 1 will provide Early Intervention screening, tracking, and service coordination to children birth to three years of age who are experiencing developmental delays, in collaboration with the individual's family/guardian, and will assist them in locating and obtaining necessary services.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework:  You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level course work which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orA bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.Other Requirements:PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:This position falls under the p
