THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this leadership role, you will be required to maintain organization and structure to assist casework staff in their job performance duties. You will be responsible for supervising caseworkers who investigate allegations of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and/or neglect or who are at imminent risk of the same. Work also involves providing direct case management services to abused or neglected children and their families in the home as well as in out-of-the-home placements, in order to ensure the safety, permanency, and well-being of children served. You will have the opportunity to consult with other agencies regarding the treatment of children and families, ensuring agency and family goals are being met. Additional responsibilities include:Assigning work to caseworkers and internsReviewing family service and child permanency plansOverseeing court-related documents and proceedingsProviding skill development and trainingParticipating in administration and staff meetingsDetermining status of child abuse investigationsMonitoring and preparing state-required reportsWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position includes working evening and weekend hours, as well as performing on-call duties.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private
