THE POSITION

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for investigating concerns, delivering services, and championing child safety. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role focuses on supervising casework operations that protect children and support families through timely services and careful oversight. As a County Casework Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:Caseworker Supervision: Oversee County Caseworkers and interns investigating Child Protective Services and General Protective Services cases, provide direction, and monitor performanceWorkload Management: Assign cases, distribute tasks, review Family Service and Child Permanency Plans, and ensure timelines and quality standards are metCourt Preparation: Review reports and petitions, guide staff in writing summaries, coordinate with attorneys, and support testimony and court appearancesPolicy Compliance: Ensure adherence to agency regulations, Child Protective Services Law, union contract provisions, and Equal Opportunity policiesTraining And Support: Provide individual and group supervision, coach skill development, arrange training, and offer after-hours consultation when requiredInteragency Coordination: Consult with community partners, address funding or contract issues, and communicate with courts and public officials as neededWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position includes working evening and weekend hours, as well as, performing on-call duties.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orAny equivalent combination of experience a
