THE POSITION

Lebanon County Children & Youth Services is actively seeking a Casework Supervisor to round out our staff. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will provide direct supervision to both the unit and the individual caseworkers within the unit. it is essential you have direct knowledge of laws and regulations which govern child welfare services and ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations and Agency policies and procedures. You can expect to meet weekly with individual case workers to review cases and provide guidance for on-going services. You will have the opportunity to provide orientation training for new and already approved foster parents in addition to providing case management and counseling services to children, youth, and family members as needed. Responsibilities include overseeing and monitoring investigations of suspected child abuse and neglect cases. This position maintains reports and assists in preparing an appropriate Needs Based Budget based on unit needs.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.Other Requirements:This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.You must meet the PA residency requireme
