DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a County Casework Supervisor, you will be providing a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families throughout Wayne County. You will be responsible for supervising caseworkers in the Intake Unit, completing performance evaluations, and monitoring the unit staff to ensure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Work involves daily hands-on operation of the Intake Unit in absence of caseworkers, including carrying a direct service caseload. You will have the opportunity to provide training to new and existing caseworkers, ensuring all of the agency's policies and procedures are consistently communicated and applied. In this role, you will also be tasked with contributing to the development of the annual plan, collecting data and statistics, analyzing information, and preparing written documentation for review by supervisory and administrative personnel.Take your career up a notch with our dedicated team of caseworkers!Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. You will be required to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on rotating basis.
