THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families. A successful candidate would supervise four to six caseworkers in the Intake unit and complete performance evaluations along with monitoring the unit staff to assure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the daily hands-on operation of the Intake Unit in absence of the caseworkers. May be responsible to carry a direct service caseload.   The Casework Supervisor performs training for new and existing caseworkers in the Intake Unit in accordance with the agency's policy and procedures. Position is responsible for preparation of intake unit policies on an on-going basis; evaluates and recommends changes to policy and procedures as per federal/state regulations. Contributes to the development of the annual plan, and for collecting data and statistics, analyzing same and preparing written documentation for review by supervisory and administrative personnel.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.On-call 24/7 on a rotating basis. Irregular hours including evenings and weekends.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; orAny equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sc
