About the Position
Third-level seasoned Vocational training position accountable for supervising and instructing clients in complex and advanced career or technical occupational skills (e.g., plumbing, welding, carpentry, automotive mechanics, electrical wiring, metalworking, computer repair, food service, cosmetology, etc.). Accountable for preparing reports based on client attendance, performance, progress, and skills assimilation. Employees may also assist in the development, planning, and preparation of the course outline and content.
This position will serve as Nails Technology instructor for the Women's Institution and must be licensed by the MSBCB in either Nails Technology or Cosmetology. In addition

You will need to be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, follow MSPB and MDOC Policies and Procedures, have good communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 3+ years of relevant experience/education and/or relevant certifications/licenses. — Agency Qualifications:
Must be licensed by the MSBCB as an instructor. If anyone applies and is licensed to practice cosmetology or nail technology, but is not additionally licensed by the MSBCB as a licensed instructor, they cannot be considered.
