Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
with a strong background in
investment banking and asset management
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in portfolio management systems, trading workflows, and risk/compliance modules, with a deep understanding of multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and support business processes across
asset management and investment operations
.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and support system enhancements.
Manage and optimize workflows related to
trade lifecycle management
across various asset classes and markets.
Ensure effective integration and alignment between internal systems and third-party vendors.
Domain Expertise
Strong experience in:
Asset Management systems (preferably CRD / Charles River Development)
Portfolio Management and Investment Operations
Coverage of asset classes including:
Equity
Fixed Income
Derivatives
Mutual Funds
Mandatory System & Functional Experience
CRD / Charles River modules
, including:
Trade Blotter and end-to-end trade workflows
Manager Workbench
PMAR (Performance Measurement & Attribution)
Complex Account Group Management
Risk & Analytics
:
Risk attribution and analysis
Integration with third-party risk providers (e.g., MSCI)
Factor model implementation and data integration
Identification and resolution of data gaps between vendor and client systems
Portfolio & Investment Functions
:
Scenario Analysis
Asset Allocation
Security Selection Index
Cash Flow Forecasting
IBOR (Investment Book of Record)
Corporate Actions
:
End-to-end corporate action workflows and processing
Compliance
:
Investment compliance
Hands-on experience with
CRD Compliance module
Good to Have
Experience with:
MS SQL Server
Database querying and data analysis
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement gathering abilities
Experience working in
Agile or hybrid delivery environments
Ability to handle complex integrations and data-driven solutions
