Job Description
The Department of Biology seeks applications from individuals who are interested in temporary teaching assignments for undergraduate and graduate courses. The open positions will be non-tenure track assignments. The major commitment will be teaching undergraduate or graduate courses. In general, the instructor is expected to interact with other members of the department including faculty, staff and students, enriching and enhancing student education offered by the Department of Biology at Colorado State University. Some instructor positions may have the option to work remotely, but all positions are required to have an in-person presence at Colorado State University.
Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.

Signing Bonus:
Any signing bonus, up to
$2,500
, must be approved on a case-by-case basis by the hiring laboratory and departmental leadership.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $70,000
Essential Job Duties:
Essential job duties vary depending on the course being taught or the needs of the department, but may include:
Preparation and Development of Class Material.
Teaching.
Mentoring.
Collaborating with faculty, graduate students, and department staff.
Conditions of Employment:

Minimum Qualifications:
An MS degree in an appropriate discipline is required.
The successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A. by the proposed start date. The Department of Biology will not sponsor a visa for hires from this pool.

A Ph.D. degree in an appropriate discipline is strongly preferred.
